The supporters of As Melfi 1929 booed when Silvio Pellico 47 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesco Oddi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Napoleon Walaszkiewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. But to his dismay, Fox 武松 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Claudiu Baldovin sped through Silvio Pellico 47's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fedele Di Clemente. Silvio Pellico 47's Fedele Di Clemente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Miccio in the 27th minute of play. Silvio Pellico 47's Fedele Di Clemente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Silvio Pellico 47 from getting a goal against them. Amos Oriali hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Fedele Di Clemente made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fox 武松 in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fedele Di Clemente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as As Melfi 1929's Carlo Miccio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fedele Di Clemente. That made the score 8-0 after 42 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Chioda in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fedele Di Clemente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fedele Di Clemente stood somewhat misplaced when Fox 武松 came free in front of goal and shot 9-0 to the left of him in the 46 minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Biagio Donatelli to make the kick off. Silvio Pellico 47's Fedele Di Clemente tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Silvio Pellico 47's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Chioda came free, but Fedele Di Clemente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Fox 武松 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 16-0. Fedele Di Clemente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fedele Di Clemente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fox 武松 in the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Fox 武松 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The As Melfi 1929 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 17-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. As Melfi 1929 fully deserved thier win.
