In the 9th minute, Davide La Marca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ferdinando Stumpo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Vicolungo AFC's Ferdinando Stumpo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fox 武松 in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Napoleon Walaszkiewicz in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferdinando Stumpo saved Vicolungo AFC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, As Melfi 1929's Claudiu Baldovin got a free kick in the 29th minute. Eraldo Bulla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniele Di Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The As Melfi 1929 fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when As Melfi 1929's Fox 武松 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Carlo Miccio took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdinando Stumpo. Ferdinando Stumpo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. After having played for 42 minutes, Davide La Marca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. As Melfi 1929's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davide La Marca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Fox 武松 put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Ferdinando Stumpo. Disappointed in the 0-9 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Fox 武松 did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-10 to the left of a surprised Ferdinando Stumpo 56 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vicolungo AFC's zone, Fox 武松 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinando Stumpo came out of the goal and Fox 武松 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 62 played minutes Vicolungo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Basarab Coșereanu. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fox 武松 in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferdinando Stumpo saved Vicolungo AFC from getting behind. Ferdinando Stumpo made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Napoleon Walaszkiewicz sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute Fox 武松 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinando Stumpo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Chioda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinando Stumpo having to interfere. Fox 武松 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Ferdinando Stumpo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vicolungo AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Fox 武松 scored to the left of an out of position Ferdinando Stumpo, making the score, 0-11. When As Melfi 1929's Fox 武松 in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vicolungo AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fox 武松 in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferdinando Stumpo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 86 played minutes Vicolungo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Basarab Coșereanu. Davide La Marca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ferdinando Stumpo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
