Cesare Cericola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domenico Ingegno in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Amedeo Addari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adolfo Ugutz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Achille Ricci fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Città di Montagna's protests and gave Achille Ricci a yellow card for diving instead. Moaschese's Adolfo Ugutz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Moaschese from getting a goal against them. 17 minutes into the match, Moaschese's goal looked a bit too open when Achille Ricci came free, but Adolfo Ugutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amedeo Addari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Ugutz having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Moaschese's Fausto Di Bernardo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fausto Di Bernardo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Moaschese protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fausto Di Bernardo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Moaschese! Ferdinando Manna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Ugutz having to interfere. Carlo Staniscia charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlo Staniscia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Moaschese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Staniscia to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Carlo Staniscia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the game, Città di Montagna's Cesare Iezzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adolfo Ugutz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Città di Montagna's zone, Aldo Galli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesare Cericola came out of the goal and Aldo Galli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferdinando Manna got free with Adolfo Ugutz in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adolfo Ugutz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amedeo Addari in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amedeo Addari was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Moaschese's goal looked a bit too open when Achille Ricci came free, but Adolfo Ugutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd match minute, Città di Montagna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Pascali to maneuver through the defense. If Ferdinando Manna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Iezzi in the 56th minute of play forced Moaschese's goalkeeper Adolfo Ugutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moaschese's Adolfo Ugutz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Addari in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute Achille Ricci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Ugutz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Amedeo Addari had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adolfo Ugutz. Moaschese's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amedeo Addari was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Ferdinando Manna scored 6-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adolfo Ugutz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Iezzi in the 67th minute of play forced Moaschese's goalkeeper Adolfo Ugutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolfo Ugutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achille Ricci in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Ercole Barberio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Adolfo Ugutz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Moaschese's Dave Corelli was substituted for Aldo Galli. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinando Manna in the 76th minute of play forced Moaschese's goalkeeper Adolfo Ugutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Moaschese's zone, Ferdinando Manna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Ugutz came out of the goal and Ferdinando Manna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Città di Montagna getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ercole Barberio hit a great ball. Adolfo Ugutz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinando Manna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolfo Ugutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo Addari in the 83rd minute of play. Adolfo Ugutz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesare Iezzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Ferdinando Manna scored 9-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adolfo Ugutz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Città di Montagna players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
