In the 7th minute Zheng Jing Fei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Carlos Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Villamediana hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by He Xu in the 8th minute of play forced Real Angelica's goalkeeper Vladimir Djerlø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Real Murçia FC's José Carlos Castro got control of the ball when Beppe Tomasso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Real Murçia FC's José Carlos Castro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Real Murçia FC from getting a goal against them. Real Angelica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rūtenis Banaitis in the 11th minute. In the 15th match minute, Real Murçia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cedro Gurendes to maneuver through the defense. Real Murçia FC's José Carlos Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michail Bakunin in the 19th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Angelica's Carmine Ramoser slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of José Carlos Castro. That made the score 1-0 after 26 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Billock in the 29th minute of play forced Real Angelica's goalkeeper Vladimir Djerlø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimir Djerlø took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Billock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Real Murçia FC's José Carlos Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rūtenis Banaitis in the 33rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Real Angelica's José Carlos Castro threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carmine Ramoser, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 37th minute of the match, Carmine Ramoser tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but José Carlos Castro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zheng Jing Fei in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Carlos Castro saved Real Murçia FC from getting behind. 43 minutes into the game, Real Murçia FC's Gilberto Carretero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vladimir Djerlø made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Real Murçia FC's Gilberto Carretero got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Billock stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Real Angelica getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Fausto Pizzi hit a great ball. Real Angelica were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Real Murçia FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rūtenis Banaitis took the corner. The corner led Real Angelica's Rūtenis Banaitis to fire away a dangerous shot which José Carlos Castro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. José Carlos Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zheng Jing Fei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Michail Bakunin notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Real Murçia FC's José Carlos Castro. José Carlos Castro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 76th match minute, Real Murçia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josep Sagnol to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Rūtenis Banaitis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Angelica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Zheng Jing Fei struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. José Carlos Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Angelica. José Carlos Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zheng Jing Fei in the 85th minute of play. Vladimir Djerlø made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Robert Billock sent off a good shot on target. Vladimir Djerlø came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Real Murçia FC's Robert Billock. But to his dismay, Robert Billock quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Real Angelica's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
