But to his dismay, Danail Batalski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of Champions TA booed when Legnano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristoforo Cannavacciuolo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Carter Giancola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maciej Walicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ercole Mastrangelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Amos Sciascia's late challenge caught a Legnano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danail Batalski might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Casiraghi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danail Batalski ran back to his position shaking his head. Flavio Casiraghi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danail Batalski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maciej Walicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Negrini, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Legnano's Danail Batalski got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Daniele Mastronardi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ercole Mastrangelo might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maciej Walicki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ercole Mastrangelo ran back to his position shaking his head. When Danail Batalski came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Legnano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danail Batalski couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niculae Tătaru in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Casiraghi saved Champions TA from getting behind. Flavio Casiraghi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Danail Batalski went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Maciej Walicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvise Lattanzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Danail Batalski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danail Batalski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Casiraghi having to make a save. Flavio Casiraghi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danail Batalski in the 93rd minute of the match.
