The audience thought a goal was coming when Enzo Rotili got free with Arif Oğuz Cantürk in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Adam Huchro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uğur Arıbaş in the 14th minute of play forced Monterenzio FC 88's goalkeeper Amerigo Peca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam Huchro kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Amerigo Peca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Franco Epifani went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enzo Rotili got free with Arif Oğuz Cantürk in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Monterenzio FC 88 getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Cristoforo Astolfi hit a great ball. The supporters of Monterenzio FC 88 booed when Burnley FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roch Hatman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arif Oğuz Cantürk made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Cristoforo Astolfi sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Monterenzio FC 88's Arif Oğuz Cantürk threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alvise Salvadore, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Franco Epifani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amerigo Peca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Huchro in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Monterenzio FC 88's goal looked a bit too open when Uğur Arıbaş came free, but Amerigo Peca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuno Quental sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Franco Epifani made a precise shot to the right of Amerigo Peca. Monterenzio FC 88's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Burnley FC's zone, Enrico Citrullo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arif Oğuz Cantürk came out of the goal and Enrico Citrullo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cesare Mattioli kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Amerigo Peca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uğur Arıbaş in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Adam Huchro made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Burnley FC's Franco Epifani slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amerigo Peca. That made the score 0-5 after 53 minutes of play. Amerigo Peca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alemdar Baykut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Uğur Arıbaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Barney Mayall came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Burnley FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barney Mayall couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Monterenzio FC 88's Cristoforo Astolfi got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Franco Epifani kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Monterenzio FC 88's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Franco Epifani fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Franco Epifani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amerigo Peca having to interfere. A collision led to Monterenzio FC 88 getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Cristoforo Astolfi hit a great ball. Franco Epifani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Amerigo Peca made a huge save. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Monterenzio FC 88's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Uğur Arıbaş was slow to take the kick. During this time Burnley FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Uğur Arıbaş almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Monterenzio FC 88's Amerigo Peca did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Huchro got free with Amerigo Peca in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Alemdar Baykut came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Burnley FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alemdar Baykut couldn't finish the play. Amerigo Peca made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Adam Huchro sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Amerigo Peca successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alemdar Baykut was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. Burnley FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 93 minutes into the match, Burnley FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvise Salvadore came free, but Arif Oğuz Cantürk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Burnley FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
