Cantonazzo FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Enrico Bocchi in the 11th minute. Alessandro Carta was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ferdinando Di Nino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Eraldo Marongiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute Enrico Bocchi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Marongiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TOP ONE's Eraldo Marongiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinando Di Nino in the 17th minute of play. Enrico Bocchi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Alessandro Carta came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Cantonazzo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessandro Carta couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fedele Bontempi in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carmine Pala saved Cantonazzo FC from getting behind. Ferdinando Di Nino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eraldo Marongiu having to interfere. Eraldo Marongiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrico Bocchi's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Carter Piccone hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Ferdinando Di Nino notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of TOP ONE's Eraldo Marongiu. Eraldo Marongiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amedeo Tullo during the 43rd minute.
