The referee showed Carmine Lavatrice the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 played minutes TOP ONE got a freekick which was hit by Carmine Lavatrice. In the 4th minute of the match Alberigo Saturno shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eraldo Marongiu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 8th minute, Alberigo Saturno made a precise shot to the right of Eraldo Marongiu. TOP ONE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Alberigo Saturno dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eraldo Marongiu, 2-0. Beppe Lombardi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Anelli in the 19th minute of play forced PARMA's goalkeeper Florian Coscia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, PARMA's Bernardo Iachini got a free kick in the 19th minute. The supporters of TOP ONE booed when PARMA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camillo Soccio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute Comunardo Petrocchi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Coscia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Felice Della Torre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, TOP ONE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Delle Donne to maneuver through the defense. Eraldo Marongiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberigo Saturno in the 30th minute. In the 34th minute Beppe Lombardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Marongiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Alberigo Saturno dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eraldo Marongiu, 4-0. The referee ignored PARMA's protests and gave Camillo Soccio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Camillo Soccio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberigo Saturno to make the kick off. Franco Anelli hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Franco Anelli got free with Florian Coscia in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eraldo Marongiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camillo Soccio in the 57th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, TOP ONE's goal looked a bit too open when Camillo Soccio came free, but Eraldo Marongiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eraldo Marongiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberigo Saturno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florian Coscia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felice Della Torre, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, PARMA's Alberigo Saturno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eraldo Marongiu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Alberto Delle Donne was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 65 minutes had been played. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedele Bontempi in the 75th minute of play forced PARMA's goalkeeper Florian Coscia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the game, one of PARMA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a little luck, PARMA's Florian Coscia got control of the ball when Fedele Bontempi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alberigo Saturno took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eraldo Marongiu. Eraldo Marongiu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. In the 87th minute Fedele Bontempi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Coscia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florian Coscia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Comunardo Petrocchi, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. TOP ONE's Eraldo Marongiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camillo Soccio in the 94th minute of play. Eraldo Marongiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camillo Soccio, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Florian Coscia made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Fedele Bontempi sent off a good shot on target.
