In the 57th minute Aldo Tocchetto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corrado Albanesi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amerigo Rullo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Corrado Albanesi made a huge save. But to his dismay, Cristoforo De Tommasi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Amerigo Rullo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Edinburgh D. C.'s goalkeeper Corrado Albanesi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anthony Guidone. After having played for 70 minutes, Cristoforo De Tommasi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herberia Herons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristoforo De Tommasi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amerigo Rullo struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Corrado Albanesi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Herberia Herons. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Aldo Tocchetto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herberia Herons's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Tocchetto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corrado Albanesi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Eugenio Ruggieri took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Corrado Albanesi to make any attempt to save it. Aldo Tocchetto might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Corrado Albanesi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aldo Tocchetto ran back to his position shaking his head. When Aldo Tocchetto came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Herberia Herons fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Tocchetto couldn't finish the play. Amerigo Rullo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corrado Albanesi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Guidone in the 96th minute of play forced Edinburgh D. C.'s goalkeeper Corrado Albanesi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
