In the 4th minute, Andrea Giansante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernardo Iachini's late challenge caught a Pedriano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardo Iachini helped the player get up and apologised. Ferruccio Scandella, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Alberigo Saturno didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 10th minute. Pedriano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PARMA the free kick. Dennis Bocchi kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Alberigo Saturno struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Concetto Piattelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PARMA. With a little luck, Pedriano's Concetto Piattelli got control of the ball when Alberigo Saturno tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st minute Alfonso Apicella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Concetto Piattelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Arturo Schiacciacasse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 33 played minutes Pedriano got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Bocchi. Alberigo Saturno shot from long distance in the 34th minute, but Concetto Piattelli was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arturo Schiacciacasse in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Concetto Piattelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 42 minutes into the match, Pedriano's goalkeeper Concetto Piattelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberigo Saturno. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Fulvio Palermo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Concetto Piattelli having to interfere. Pedriano's Concetto Piattelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberigo Saturno in the 67th minute of play. Concetto Piattelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberigo Saturno in the 69th minute of the match. Domenico Terrasi hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Arturo Schiacciacasse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PARMA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Schiacciacasse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The goalkeeper, Florian Coscia, was totally fooled by Pedriano's Ferruccio Scandella, who 81 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Alberigo Saturno put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Concetto Piattelli. The PARMA fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when PARMA's Alberigo Saturno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 6-1 became the score in the 96th minute when Alberigo Saturno elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
