After some careless play in the Cantonazzo FC defense, Andrea Giansante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arturo Nelli. The Cantonazzo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arturo Nelli should have stopped the shot. Cantonazzo FC's Arturo Nelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Cantonazzo FC from getting a goal against them. After 15 minutes, Flavio Crispino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cantonazzo FC and the Pedriano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cantonazzo FC's Flavio Crispino got a free kick in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Terrasi in the 23rd minute of play forced Cantonazzo FC's goalkeeper Arturo Nelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cantonazzo FC reached it. Fausto Di Claudio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Concetto Piattelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Nelli came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Pedriano's Fedele Mameli. But to his dismay, Fedele Mameli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 45th minute Alessio Di Mascio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Concetto Piattelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavio Crispino to strike the kick off in the second half. Andrea Giansante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arturo Nelli having to make a save. Arturo Nelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrea Giansante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmondo Briganti kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Flavio Crispinos short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Concetto Piattelli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Andrea Giansante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferruccio Di Paolo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Cantonazzo FC's Anthony Altobelli got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 72 played minutes Pedriano got a freekick which was hit by Ferruccio Di Paolo. 73 minutes into the game, Anthony Altobelli recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Concetto Piattelli. Anthony Altobelli showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. When Flavio Crispino came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Cantonazzo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Crispino couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmondo Briganti in the 78th minute of play forced Pedriano's goalkeeper Concetto Piattelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fedele Mameli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Nelli having to interfere. Pedriano's Andrea Giansante got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flavio Crispino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Concetto Piattelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Fedele Mameli suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After a rather tough play, Cantonazzo FC's Federico Marongiu got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute of the match Ferruccio Scandella sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arturo Nelli skillfully saved the ball. Many of Cantonazzo FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Cantonazzo FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Pedriano were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
