Eraldo Marongiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eraldo Marongiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Tozzi in the 10th minute of play. In the 15th minute Felice Della Torre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 庞骏战 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, TOP ONE's Eraldo Marongiu got control of the ball when Filippo Teodori tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eraldo Marongiu was a little too slow when Flavio Tozzi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Tozzi in the 21st minute of play forced TOP ONE's goalkeeper Eraldo Marongiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Cortesano's Filippo Teodori ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eraldo Marongiu. Eraldo Marongiu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in TOP ONE's zone, Flavio Tozzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eraldo Marongiu came out of the goal and Flavio Tozzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Cortesano's Enzo Cannata in the 28th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Eraldo Marongiu was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for TOP ONE through an amazing save. 29 minutes into the game, Cortesano's Flavio Tozzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eraldo Marongiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 33rdth minute of the game Flavio Tozzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TOP ONE's Eraldo Marongiu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enzo Cannata's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eraldo Marongiu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Cortesano's Aldo Vierchowod nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eraldo Marongiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Flavio Tozzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fedele Bontempi made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Fulvio Silvagni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute, Flavio Tozzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cortesano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Eraldo Marongiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Tozzi in the 60th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes TOP ONE got a freekick which was hit by Anfilogino Giacomini. Cortesano's Camillo Giorgi was substituted for Filippo Teodori. Anfilogino Giacomini kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 63 played minutes Cortesano got a freekick which was hit by Camillo Giorgi. Comunardo Petrocchi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. 庞骏战 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 68 minutes, Flavio Tozzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cortesano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Tozzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Tozzi in the 70th minute of play forced TOP ONE's goalkeeper Eraldo Marongiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eraldo Marongiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Tozzi in the 74th minute of play. Camillo Giorgi scored 7-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eraldo Marongiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eraldo Marongiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enzo Cannata went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of TOP ONE booed when Cortesano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulvio Silvagni didn't get a good kick on the ball. TOP ONE's Eraldo Marongiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Tozzi in the 89th minute of play. Eraldo Marongiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo Giorgi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Tozzi took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eraldo Marongiu. Eraldo Marongiu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cortesano fully deserved thier win.
