Spectators: 8007 (Terracing: 6007, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) Cristoforo De Tommasi made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes into the match, Cantonazzo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristoforo De Tommasi came free, but Arturo Nelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Cantonazzo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Tocchetto came free, but Arturo Nelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Cristoforo De Tommasi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arturo Nelli was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristoforo De Tommasi got free with Arturo Nelli in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cantonazzo FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Eugenio Ruggieri scored to the left of an out of position Arturo Nelli, making the score, 2-0. Arturo Nelli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristoforo De Tommasi went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Diego Mian came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Cantonazzo FC's Alessio Di Mascio. But to his dismay, Alessio Di Mascio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 45th minute, Amerigo Rullo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arturo Nelli was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavio Crispino to make the kick off. Cristoforo De Tommasi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Arturo Nelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 52nd minute, Alvise Donatelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cantonazzo FC! Cantonazzo FC's Arturo Nelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Ruggieri in the 55th minute of play. After 56 minutes of play, Herberia Herons's Cristoforo De Tommasi made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arturo Nelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Federico Marongiu hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute Flavio Crispino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Mian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Nelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrico Martinelli in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Anthony Guidone had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arturo Nelli. Cantonazzo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anthony Guidone was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. When Amerigo Rullo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 70 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Arturo Nelli was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Arturo Nelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Tocchetto in the 72nd minute of the match. When Flavio Crispino came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Cantonazzo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Crispino couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the match, Amerigo Rullo notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Cantonazzo FC's Arturo Nelli. Arturo Nelli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristoforo De Tommasi in the 80th minute of play forced Cantonazzo FC's goalkeeper Arturo Nelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Nelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Tocchetto in the 89th minute of the match. The supporters of Herberia Herons booed when Cantonazzo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Crispino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Armando Marchesani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arturo Nelli. Cantonazzo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Marchesani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Herberia Herons fully deserved thier win.
