The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xilo Aguilo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Xilo Aguilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Gabriele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosimo Lazzaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Comunardo Croce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of pescarazemania:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lorella:s goal. After 23 minutes, Cosimo Lazzaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lorella and the pescarazemania players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Lorella was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosimo Lazzaro to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Di Marzio in the 26th minute of play forced Lorella's goalkeeper Xilo Aguilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xilo Aguilo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberigo Granata, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Comunardo Croce made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Amerigo Firmani sent off a good shot on target. A wasted opportunity for Lorella. 41 minutes into the game, Alberigo Granata was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. pescarazemania's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lorella the free kick. In the 43rd match minute, pescarazemania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Di Marzio to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the game, Daniele Zisser was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lorella's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave pescarazemania the free kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristiano Gabriele to make the kick off. If Cosimo Lazzaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Amerigo Firmani sped through pescarazemania's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Comunardo Croce. When Emiliano Di Fazio fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lorella's protests and gave Emiliano Di Fazio a yellow card for diving instead. After 61 played minutes Lorella got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Di Fazio. Alberigo Granata was shown his second yellow card after 64 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, pescarazemania's Alberigo Granata got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute Cosimo Lazzaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comunardo Croce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amerigo Firmani struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Comunardo Croce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lorella. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amerigo Firmani in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Comunardo Croce saved pescarazemania from getting behind. Xilo Aguilo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Tamburrini, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 91st match minute, Lorella was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Cicchini to maneuver through the defense. If Amerigo Firmani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amerigo Firmani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Comunardo Croce having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lorella fully deserved thier win.
