In the 34th minute, Alvise Ursini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Óscar Cordobé was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Ferdinando Ferraris made in the 37th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Orange's Eugenio Colecchia. Adriano Federici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Palombi in the 38th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Orange's zone, Emiliano Talone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Óscar Cordobé came out of the goal and Emiliano Talone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Emiliano Talone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vicenza's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Talone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
