Adriano Borrelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 6 minutes, Aldo Punta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muppet FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Punta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Nugola AFC defense, Eraldo Verdini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adriano Borrelli. The Nugola AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adriano Borrelli should have stopped the shot. Adriano Borrelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anfilogino Morelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eraldo Verdini succeeded in the game's 12th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. After 15 minutes, Eraldo Verdini made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Nugola AFC's Adriano Borrelli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th match minute, Muppet FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pello Clemente to maneuver through the defense. Anfilogino Morelli hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the game, Muppet FC's Donato Corelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adriano Borrelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After having played for 33 minutes, Aldo Punta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muppet FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Punta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eugenio Di Carlo kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 35thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Muppet FC's keeper Felice Coccolone was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Adriano Borrelli came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Muppet FC's Donato Corelli. But to his dismay, Donato Corelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Nugola AFC's Adriano Borrelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eraldo Verdini in the 42nd minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Muppet FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Borgatello came free, but Felice Coccolone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

Eraldo Verdini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 58 minutes into the match, Nugola AFC's goalkeeper Adriano Borrelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eraldo Verdini. Anfilogino Morelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Adriano Borrelli made a huge save. 61 minutes into the game, Arturo Passerini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nugola AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Muppet FC the free kick. 60 minutes into the game, one of Nugola AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 62 minutes, Muppet FC's Donato Corelli got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Adriano Borrelli. 65 minutes into the game, Anfilogino Morelli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Muppet FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nugola AFC the free kick. In the 66th minute, Anfilogino Morelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eraldo Verdini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Donato Corelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Borrelli having to interfere. Felice Coccolone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Borgatello, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. During the 72nd minute of the match Anfilogino Morelli completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Anfilogino Morelli a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Anfilogino Morelli hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Adriano Borrelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eraldo Verdini, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Donato Corelli might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adriano Borrelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donato Corelli ran back to his position shaking his head. The goalkeeper, Adriano Borrelli, was totally fooled by Muppet FC's Donato Corelli, who 84 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Eraldo Verdini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Borrelli having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Eraldo Verdini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muppet FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eraldo Verdini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adriano Borrelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nugola AFC's Adriano Borrelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Corelli in the 97th minute of play. When Donato Corelli came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Muppet FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Corelli couldn't finish the play. Aldo Punta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 100th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adriano Borrelli. Nugola AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
