Spectators: 7974 (Terracing: 5982, Seating: 1834, VIP seats: 158) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Florian Giandomenico kicked off to start the match. With his leg Xilo Aguilo managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when SURSUM CORDA F.C.'s Iqbal Rambing fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Xilo Aguilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto Campo in the 6th minute of play. Xilo Aguilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Della Torre in the 7th minute of play. Iqbal Rambing received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Xilo Aguilo came out and tried to block the shot, but Iqbal Rambing slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute Florian Giandomenico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xilo Aguilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Lorella's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Giandomenico came free, but Xilo Aguilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Lorella's Xilo Aguilo got control of the ball when Achille Lemme tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Cosimo Florio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Xilo Aguilo. That made the score 3-0 in the 19 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iqbal Rambing got free with Xilo Aguilo in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xilo Aguilo was a little too slow when Florian Giandomenico got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 5-0. In the 30th minute, Amerigo Firmani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iqbal Rambing kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Florian Giandomenico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xilo Aguilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano Iovine could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Xilo Aguilo made a huge save. Xilo Aguilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Concetto Campo in the 40th minute of the match. Achille Lemme kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Lorella's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Giandomenico came free, but Xilo Aguilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xilo Aguilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto Campo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florian Giandomenico was extremely unlucky when he, in the 46th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Xilo Aguilo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Giandomenico, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the game, Cosimo Florio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Xilo Aguilo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Concetto Campo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lorella's Xilo Aguilo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iqbal Rambing in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Florian Giandomenico ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xilo Aguilo was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iqbal Rambing in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xilo Aguilo saved Lorella from getting behind. Concetto Campo took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xilo Aguilo. Xilo Aguilo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. 77 minutes into the match, Lorella's goal looked a bit too open when Concetto Campo came free, but Xilo Aguilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Lorella's goal looked a bit too open when Iqbal Rambing came free, but Xilo Aguilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 minutes, Florian Giandomenico made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. Lorella's Xilo Aguilo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Xilo Aguilo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. There was no doubt that SURSUM CORDA F.C. were the better team. SURSUM CORDA F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
