Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cosimo Lazzaro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 5thth minute of the game Cosimo Lazzaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ceresāo's Ronny Eliasson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Lorella's Xilo Aguilo got control of the ball when Biagio Cala tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xilo Aguilo made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Ciccio Larizza sent off a good shot on target. Lorella's Xilo Aguilo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Savoia in the 12th minute of play. Concetto Palermo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 15 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, one of Lorella:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lorella. After 16 minutes Lorella's goalkeeper Xilo Aguilo managed, with a little bit of luck, save Diego Semeno's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Ceresāo's Diego Semeno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Xilo Aguilo. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. Xilo Aguilo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonello Pich, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Xilo Aguilo made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Ciccio Larizza sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Cosimo Lazzaro sped through Ceresāo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ronny Eliasson. Biagio Cala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Xilo Aguilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronny Eliasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Lazzaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Ciccio Larizza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Xilo Aguilo made a huge save. When Lorella's Cosimo Lazzaro in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ceresāo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 46th match minute, Lorella was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Di Fazio to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cosimo Lazzaro made a kick off. Xilo Aguilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciccio Larizza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd match minute, Lorella was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio Campana to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Cosimo Lazzaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronny Eliasson was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Cosimo Lazzaro struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Ronny Eliasson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lorella. Lorella's Xilo Aguilo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Cala in the 63rd minute of play. Ronny Eliasson came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Lorella's Andrea Cicchini. But to his dismay, Andrea Cicchini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Ciccio Larizza took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xilo Aguilo. Xilo Aguilo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Ronny Eliasson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-4. Ronny Eliasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosimo Lazzaro in the 77th minute of the match. Cosimo Lazzaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronny Eliasson having to make a save. Ronny Eliasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosimo Lazzaro in the 81st minute of the match. Xilo Aguilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Biagio Cala in the 82nd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Cosimo Lazzaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronny Eliasson. Ceresāo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cosimo Lazzaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. Cosimo Lazzaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Eliasson having to interfere. Andrea Cicchini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronny Eliasson having to make a save. With his leg Ronny Eliasson managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Lorella's Cosimo Lazzaro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ronny Eliasson stood somewhat misplaced when Cosimo Lazzaro came free in front of goal and shot 2-6 to the left of him in the 92 minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lorella eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
