In the 13th minute Bruno Domina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Tesone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Elia Costacurta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frank Tesone was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Frank Tesone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elia Costacurta in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Mambo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Ballerini came free, but Armin Di Toma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Tesone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermanno Borrelli kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Elia Costacurta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frank Tesone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Andris Van Eynde got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Frank Tesone quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Elia Costacurta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Frank Tesone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Costacurta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elia Costacurta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Frank Tesone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Idece FC's zone, Elia Costacurta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Tesone came out of the goal and Elia Costacurta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Achille Lorefice kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elia Costacurta was the one to do the kick off. Elia Costacurta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Tesone having to interfere. Elia Costacurta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Frank Tesone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Mambo FC booed when Idece FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corrado Panico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Tesone acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 69th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Andris Van Eynde. The Mambo FC fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Mambo FC's Elia Costacurta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 80 minutes into the match, Idece FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elia Costacurta came free, but Frank Tesone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elia Costacurta took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frank Tesone. Frank Tesone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Frank Tesone made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Bruno Domina sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Domina in the 87th minute of play forced Idece FC's goalkeeper Frank Tesone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ermanno Borrelli kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The Idece FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mambo FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
