Dario Mazzini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Dobromir Czeszejko made a huge save. Arif Egemen Taif made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arrigo Giancola in the 6th minute of play. Torkild Skibbyholm kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermanno Tripodi in the 13th minute of play forced Sbocco Rosso's goalkeeper Dobromir Czeszejko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Dario Mazzini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dobromir Czeszejko. Sbocco Rosso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dario Mazzini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Arif Egemen Taif made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ercole Rosi in the 24th minute of play. Sbocco Rosso's Dobromir Czeszejko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Sbocco Rosso from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Dario Mazzini kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dobromir Czeszejko. That made the score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. Dario Mazzini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Ercole Rosi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arif Egemen Taif was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Arif Egemen Taif took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Di Girolamo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sbocco Rosso's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arrigo Giancola in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dario Mazzini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dobromir Czeszejko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermanno Tripodi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Dorika AFC's goalkeeper Arif Egemen Taif had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arrigo Giancola. A collision led to Sbocco Rosso getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Arrigo Giancola hit a great ball. Dobromir Czeszejko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermanno Tripodi in the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of Dorika AFC booed when Sbocco Rosso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ercole Rosi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sbocco Rosso's Dobromir Czeszejko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Mazzini in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute, Meta Date hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute Ermanno Tripodi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dobromir Czeszejko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Dorika AFC's goalkeeper Arif Egemen Taif had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ercole Rosi. After 79 minutes, Anselmo Di Liddo made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Dorika AFC's Arif Egemen Taif tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Sbocco Rosso players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
