Alfredo Addario scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domenico Ansoldi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Armando Pedrelli who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Ferdinando Di Massa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 22nd minute, Ettore Rotili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrico Di Placido in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferdinando Di Massa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Armando Pedrelli had several of the Viitorul Iasi Sox's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 27 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Ferdinando Di Massa as he didn't even see the shot coming. Postioma Rangers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrico Di Placido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Postioma Rangers's Fabio Corvi got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Postioma Rangers's Enrico Di Placido ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ferdinando Di Massa. Ferdinando Di Massa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. Armando Pedrelli who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Ferdinando Di Massa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 46 minutes into the match, Postioma Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Addario came free, but Domenico Ansoldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Alfredo Addario made the kick off in the second half. Fabio Corvi took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdinando Di Massa. Ferdinando Di Massa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Ferdinando Di Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrico Di Placido in the 55th minute of play. When Ettore Rotili fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viitorul Iasi Sox's protests and gave Ettore Rotili a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th match minute, Viitorul Iasi Sox was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ettore Rotili to maneuver through the defense. Postioma Rangers's Domenico Ansoldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto De Laurentiis in the 95th minute of play. Concetto De Laurentiis came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Domenico Ansoldi could save by the left post. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Postioma Rangers had played much better football throughout.
