When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Per Ekblom put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Armin Di Toma. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Elia Costacurta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mambo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elia Costacurta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Achille Bonsignore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Mambo FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Randy Lee hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Elia Costacurta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Achille Bonsignore was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Mambo FC's Armin Di Toma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Mambo FC from getting a goal against them. Francesco Salvi hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Mambo FC's Elia Costacurta in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U.S.C. Aradeo's goalie prevented a goal. After 52 minutes, Elia Costacurta made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. U.S.C. Aradeo's Achille Bonsignore tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 58th minute, Per Ekblom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U.S.C. Aradeo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 61st minute, Elia Costacurta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Achille Bonsignore. The goal made the score 2-2. 65 minutes into the game, U.S.C. Aradeo's Per Ekblom nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elia Costacurta might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Achille Bonsignore. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elia Costacurta ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 68th minute Elia Costacurta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Achille Bonsignore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of U.S.C. Aradeo booed when Mambo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesco Salvi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armin Di Toma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Ekblom in the 72nd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, U.S.C. Aradeo's goal looked a bit too open when Elia Costacurta came free, but Achille Bonsignore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Mambo FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Bruno Domina hit a great ball. A throw-in in the 81st minute of the game was made by Andrea Mazzola with Ernesto Quadrini as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Aradeo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
