Ferdinando Di Massa came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Manzoteam's Dennis Joensson. But to his dismay, Dennis Joensson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The audience was convinced that Armin Melito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferdinando Di Massa was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Tomas Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesare Pascucci kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Ferdinando Di Massa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armin Melito went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Alvise Di Giandomenico made the kick off in the second half. The Manzoteam fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Manzoteam's Armin Melito looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Manzoteam's Alberigo Antonangeli was substituted for Felice De Fina. Armin Melito showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Attilio Schiavoni was shown his second yellow card after 91 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 92 played minutes Viitorul Iasi Sox got a freekick which was hit by Attilio Schiavoni. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armin Melito in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferdinando Di Massa prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
