Marino Calcio got a freekick which was hit by Amerigo Aversano. The supporters of Foligno booed when A.S. Marino Calcio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demetrio Nicolini didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ferdinando Cruciani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Cavanna during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anselmo Chitarroni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinando Cruciani, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Alex Caiola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anselmo Chitarroni. Ferdinando Cruciani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A.S. Marino Calcio's Anselmo Chitarroni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrico Goffredo in the 86th minute of play. With a little luck, Foligno's Angelo Sasso got control of the ball when Domenico Di Lello tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute, Enrico Goffredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Cavanna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Angelo Sasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anselmo Chitarroni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinando Cruciani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Foligno walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
