Spectators: 6998 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Francesco Mastrocola kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in ZIP Line's zone, Antonio Gaspari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Marcantonio came out of the goal and Antonio Gaspari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 4 minutes into the match, Ferdinando Manna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Marcantonio. ZIP Line's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdinando Manna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. ZIP Line's Diego Marcantonio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Comunardo Sivieri in the 9th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ferdinando Manna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diego Marcantonio was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After 14 minutes of play, cotone fc's Antonello Vitelli made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Marcantonio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Comunardo Sivieri took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diego Marcantonio. Diego Marcantonio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Fausto Capaldo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Comunardo Sivieri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Diego Marcantonio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Marcantonio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonello Vitelli in the 32nd minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Ferdinando Manna notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of ZIP Line's Diego Marcantonio. Diego Marcantonio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 42 minutes into the game, cotone fc's Comunardo Sivieri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Marcantonio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. In the 46th minute, Antonio Gaspari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Marcantonio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferdinando Manna to make the kick off. The supporters of ZIP Line booed when cotone fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinando Manna didn't get a good kick on the ball. ZIP Line's Diego Marcantonio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Comunardo Sivieri in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Fausto Capaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferdinando Manna's late challenge caught a ZIP Line's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferdinando Manna helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th match minute, cotone fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinando Manna to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Comunardo Sivieri took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Diego Marcantonio to make any attempt to save it. Arrigo Aloisi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francesco Mastrocola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Gaspari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Marcantonio having to interfere. cotone fc's Comunardo Borrelli was substituted for Antonio Gaspari. 76 minutes into the match, ZIP Line's goal looked a bit too open when Comunardo Sivieri came free, but Diego Marcantonio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as cotone fc's Comunardo Sivieri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Diego Marcantonio. That made the score 0-12 after 79 minutes of play. A collision led to cotone fc getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Comunardo Borrelli hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonello Vitelli got free with Diego Marcantonio in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Comunardo Sivieri had several of the ZIP Line's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 89 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-13 score and a disappointed Diego Marcantonio as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Christian Caroli fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored cotone fc's protests and gave Christian Caroli a yellow card for diving instead. Christian Caroli kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. cotone fc's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
