Ercole Cavallaro's late challenge caught a Borgo Montello FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ercole Cavallaro helped the player get up and apologised. 15 minutes into the match, ForzaToro's goal looked a bit too open when Concetto Borel came free, but Ettore Bruno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ettore Bruno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domenico Di Virgilio in the 16th minute of the match. Ettore Bruno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulvio Pardini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot by Cristiano Sartori from long distance, 19 minutes into the match, got Fabio Grimaldi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Filippo Del Duca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabio Grimaldi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 23rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 27th minute Fulvio Pardini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ettore Bruno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Grimaldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano De Luca, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Filippo Del Duca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Grimaldi having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Filippo Del Duca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filippo Del Duca made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Concetto Borel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ettore Bruno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filippo Del Duca couldn't finish the play. Ennio Montaldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67thth minute of the game Filippo Del Duca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borgo Montello FC's Fabio Grimaldi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniele Parco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ettore Bruno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Concetto Borel, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. ForzaToro's Ettore Bruno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulvio Pardini in the 97th minute of play. ForzaToro's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
