Ettore Bruno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camillo De Angelis in the 10th minute of the match. Edmondo Furino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ettore Bruno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camillo De Angelis in the 16th minute of play. When Filippo Del Duca came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the ForzaToro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filippo Del Duca couldn't finish the play. Elia Bottega took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Attilio Bellone. A.C. Pio's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Attilio Bellone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davide Gianfrancesco, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. With a little luck, ForzaToro's Ettore Bruno got control of the ball when Demetrio Borrelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ettore Bruno made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Demetrio Borrelli sent off a good shot on target. The corner led A.C. Pio's Edmondo Furino to fire away a dangerous shot which Ettore Bruno despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Demetrio Borrelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Camillo De Angelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, ForzaToro's Filippo Del Duca got a free kick in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, ForzaToro's goalkeeper Ettore Bruno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Demetrio Borrelli. A.C. Pio's Camillo De Angelis got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Demetrio Borrelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filippo Del Duca made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demetrio Borrelli in the 56th minute of play forced ForzaToro's goalkeeper Ettore Bruno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the ForzaToro defense, Demetrio Borrelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ettore Bruno. The ForzaToro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ettore Bruno should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd minute Demetrio Borrelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ettore Bruno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the ForzaToro defense, Camillo De Angelis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ettore Bruno. The ForzaToro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ettore Bruno should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute ForzaToro were awarded a corner. Emiliano De Luca went to the cornerflag to take it. Camillo De Angelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ettore Bruno having to interfere. ForzaToro's Filippo Del Duca got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th match minute, A.C. Pio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmondo Furino to maneuver through the defense. In the 80thth minute of the game Filippo Del Duca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.C. Pio's Attilio Bellone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ettore Bruno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Farina, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in ForzaToro's zone, Demetrio Borrelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ettore Bruno came out of the goal and Demetrio Borrelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 90 minutes, Filippo Pala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.C. Pio and the ForzaToro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Filippo Del Duca in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Attilio Bellone, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Filippo Pala took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ettore Bruno. Ettore Bruno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Demetrio Borrelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ettore Bruno having to interfere. A.C. Pio walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
