Anselmo Chitarroni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Marcantonio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenico Di Lello in the 6th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabrizio Castelli during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fabrizio Castelli kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Diego Marcantonio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Di Lello, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Domenico Di Lello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Marcantonio. ZIP Line's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domenico Di Lello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A.S. Marino Calcio's Anselmo Chitarroni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save A.S. Marino Calcio from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute, Fabrizio Castelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, A.S. Marino Calcio's goalkeeper Anselmo Chitarroni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francesco Mastrocola. The supporters of ZIP Line booed when A.S. Marino Calcio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filippo Fiori didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anselmo Chitarroni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Scalabrino, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Francesco Mastrocola took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Anselmo Chitarroni to make any attempt to save it. Fabrizio Ferretti kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Ettore Silvi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th match minute, A.S. Marino Calcio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amerigo Aversano to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fausto Capaldo during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, ZIP Line's Fausto Capaldo got a free kick in the 39th minute. Demetrio Nicolini hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. If Francesco Mastrocola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Cavanna scored 1-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego Marcantonio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredo Cavanna was the one to do the kick off. Anselmo Chitarroni came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by ZIP Line's Francesco Mastrocola. But to his dismay, Francesco Mastrocola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. A.S. Marino Calcio were furious when Andrea Iacobucci was red carded, 61 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for ZIP Line. Beppe Bolli stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Anselmo Chitarroni. 3-2. When Domenico Di Lello fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.S. Marino Calcio's protests and gave Domenico Di Lello a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, A.S. Marino Calcio's Domenico Di Lello got a free kick in the 68th minute. ZIP Line's Diego Marcantonio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amerigo Aversano in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Fausto Capaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A.S. Marino Calcio's Alfredo Cavanna got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, ZIP Line's Domenico Giorda got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 86thth minute of the game Francesco Mastrocola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.S. Marino Calcio's Anselmo Chitarroni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Domenico Giorda's late challenge caught a A.S. Marino Calcio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domenico Giorda helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, ZIP Line's Domenico Giorda got a free kick in the 87th minute. Anselmo Chitarroni came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by ZIP Line's Fausto Capaldo. But to his dismay, Fausto Capaldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. After a rather tough play, A.S. Marino Calcio's Filippo Fiori got a free kick in the 97th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ZIP Line fans cheered their team off the field, for while A.S. Marino Calcio had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
