In the 7th minute, Carmine Saturno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ercole Carnevale was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 17 minutes into the match, Rombiolo BR's Francesco Melfi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Biagio Chioda in the 19th minute of play forced Santoryu FC's goalkeeper Ercole Carnevale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Rombiolo BR's corner Francesco Melfi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ercole Carnevale quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Grzegorz Grzelak during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rombiolo BR made a substitution. Fulvio Piccone replaced Federico Schiacciacasse. A collision led to Santoryu FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Grzegorz Grzelak hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Grzegorz Grzelak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santoryu FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Grzelak in the 34th minute of play forced Rombiolo BR's goalkeeper Emilio Grassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Teodoro Chale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santoryu FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 39th minute, Santoryu FC's Cesare Romano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emilio Grassi. Emilio Grassi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Padula in the 42nd minute of play forced Santoryu FC's goalkeeper Ercole Carnevale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Grzelak in the 45th minute of play forced Rombiolo BR's goalkeeper Emilio Grassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Grassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesare Romano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th play minute Cesare Romano came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emilio Grassi. 5-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesare Romano to make the kick off. Rombiolo BR's Aldo Padula got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Biagio Chioda got free with Ercole Carnevale in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rombiolo BR's Carmine Saturno got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Rosetta in the 62nd minute of play forced Rombiolo BR's goalkeeper Emilio Grassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Elia Strano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rombiolo BR's Emilio Grassi did a great save. Daniele Azzolina hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Santoryu FC's Andrea Muciaccia was substituted for Elia Strano. The supporters of Santoryu FC booed when Rombiolo BR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniele Azzolina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesare Romano took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Grassi. Emilio Grassi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Emilio Grassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Nero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Biagio Chioda notched a goal, 6-3, to the right of Santoryu FC's Ercole Carnevale. Ercole Carnevale was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Rombiolo BR defense, Grzegorz Grzelak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emilio Grassi. The Rombiolo BR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emilio Grassi should have stopped the shot. After 91 minutes of play, Santoryu FC's Cesare Romano made it 8-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emilio Grassi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grzegorz Grzelak in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Grassi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the match, Dennis Nero notched a goal, 9-3, to the right of Rombiolo BR's Emilio Grassi. Emilio Grassi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Santoryu FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
