Sconvols United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giannis Chatziioannou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giannis Chatziioannou charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giannis Chatziioannou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Real Pozzino booed when Sconvols United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giannis Chatziioannou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giannis Chatziioannou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donovan Belli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. When Sconvols United's Giannis Chatziioannou in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sconvols United's Edmondo Schiacciacasse was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Donovan Belli in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Biancone in the 20th minute of play forced Sconvols United's goalkeeper Alvaro Marchesani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Armin Minati hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 25 played minutes Real Pozzino got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Biancone. After 28 minutes Real Pozzino's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Giannis Chatziioannou who took care of the corner kick. After 32 minutes Sconvols United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edoardo Maia who took care of the corner kick. After 34 minutes of play, Sconvols United's Giannis Chatziioannou made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donovan Belli was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Giannis Chatziioannou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giannis Chatziioannou got free with Donovan Belli in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th match minute, Real Pozzino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armin Minati to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th match minute, Real Pozzino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Franzioni to maneuver through the defense. Donovan Belli made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Giannis Chatziioannou sent off a good shot on target. Rudy Lukas kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Giannis Chatziioannou made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Giannis Chatziioannou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donovan Belli was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Donovan Belli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giannis Chatziioannou in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute Sconvols United were awarded a corner. Giannis Chatziioannou went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Giannis Chatziioannou almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Real Pozzino's Donovan Belli did a great save. Donovan Belli came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Sconvols United's Giannis Chatziioannou. But to his dismay, Giannis Chatziioannou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Donovan Belli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giannis Chatziioannou in the 63rd minute of the match. Giannis Chatziioannou took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donovan Belli. Donovan Belli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. A collision led to Real Pozzino getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Cesare Perilli hit a great ball. Giannis Chatziioannou might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donovan Belli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giannis Chatziioannou ran back to his position shaking his head. Giannis Chatziioannou scored 5-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donovan Belli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd match minute, Real Pozzino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filippo Serra to maneuver through the defense. Donovan Belli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giannis Chatziioannou in the 86th minute of the match. Augusto Biancone hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Real Pozzino defense, Giannis Chatziioannou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donovan Belli. The Real Pozzino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donovan Belli should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sconvols United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Real Pozzino had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
