Spectators: 8007 (Terracing: 6007, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ennio De Nardis took the kick off in the first half of the match. XMAS's Ennio De Nardis got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sori's Christian Alessandro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Comunardo Quadrini in the 6th minute of play. XMAS were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Sori's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Diego Pellicciotta took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Diego Pellicciotta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Christian Alessandro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Christian Alessandro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ennio De Nardis in the 10th minute of the match. Concetto Garibaldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciccio Laurenti, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, Diego Pellicciotta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ennio De Nardis in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Alessandro saved Sori from getting behind. A hard shot 16 in the game by Ennio De Nardis from a close distance when the talented Christian Alessandro managed to make a qualified save. Sori's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ennio De Nardis got free with Christian Alessandro in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christian Alessandro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ennio De Nardis's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Christian Alessandro was a little too slow when Angelo Pallotta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-0. Ennio De Nardis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Alessandro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ennio De Nardis in the 31st minute of play. A hard shot 35 in the game by Ennio De Nardis from a close distance when the talented Christian Alessandro managed to make a qualified save. Sori's players were relieved. Diego Pellicciotta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 42 minutes into the match, XMAS's goal looked a bit too open when Fulvio Grande came free, but Concetto Garibaldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of XMAS booed when Sori was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciccio Laurenti didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Sori's goalkeeper Christian Alessandro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ennio De Nardis. In the 47th minute, Ciccio Laurenti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fulvio Grande made a kick off. When XMAS's Ennio De Nardis in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sori's goalie prevented a goal. Christian Alessandro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ennio De Nardis in the 62nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ennio De Nardis in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Alessandro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antonio Falone's late challenge caught a XMAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonio Falone helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th match minute, Sori was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Falone to maneuver through the defense. Diego Pellicciotta didn't quite understand what happened when in the 67 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Dave Baur's late challenge caught a XMAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dave Baur helped the player get up and apologised. 80 minutes into the game, one of Sori:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave XMAS a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Diego Pellicciotta, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sori's Christian Alessandro. 4-0. If Alessio Ascoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. XMAS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
