The referee ignored Sacconago's protests and gave Ciccio Donadoni a yellow card for diving instead. Ciccio Donadoni kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvaro Filippini was the one to do the kick off. Parrots players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sacconago's Cristiano Massimi got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Franco Pelusi charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franco Pelusi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Ciccio Donadoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bianco Graziani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florent Guilmin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Sacconago players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
