Fabiano De Matteis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achille Di Vincenzo in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Antonello Corleone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano De Matteis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pionca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonello Corleone was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. fuegos's Enzo Mussi was substituted for Demetrio Munno. 74 minutes into the game, fuegos's Arrigo Marongiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabiano De Matteis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Mussi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pionca's Fabiano De Matteis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonello Corleone in the 97th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. fuegos had played much better football throughout.
