Alessandro Bosco was slow to take the kick. During this time Sativa Team's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Alessandro Bosco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Saima FC's Dario Apolloni did a great save. 21 minutes into the match, Saima FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anfilogino Rapone came free, but Dario Apolloni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saima FC's Dario Apolloni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Lauria in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Sativa Team's goalkeeper Comunardo Buccella had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessandro Tacco. Dario Apolloni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Bosco in the 28th minute of the match. Anfilogino Rapone scored 0-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dario Apolloni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, Alessandro Bosco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dario Apolloni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anfilogino Rapone, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 46th match minute, Saima FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave Tenaglia to maneuver through the defense. Dario Apolloni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Bosco in the 67th minute of play. Diego Pantani was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Dario Apolloni was a little too slow when Alessandro Bosco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-3. After a rather tough play, Sativa Team's Fabian Caetano got a free kick in the 81st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Biagio Lauria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sativa Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Biagio Lauria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dario Apolloni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute Alessandro Bosco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Apolloni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessandro Bosco ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Sativa Team booed when Saima FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Tenaglia didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Saima FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sativa Team were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
