Enzo Lazzaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberigo Ucci got free with Eugenio Gentili in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alberigo Ucci's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eugenio Gentili firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberigo Ucci got free with Eugenio Gentili in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cesare Petrini hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 17th match minute, Pionca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amedeo Angelucci to maneuver through the defense. Alberigo Ucci kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Alberigo Ucci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eugenio Gentili. VIS PESARO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberigo Ucci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 25 minutes, Alberigo Ucci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pionca and the VIS PESARO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. VIS PESARO FC's Dario Moriggi was substituted for Bernardo Verna. A collision led to Pionca getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alberigo Ucci hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Lazzaro in the 30th minute of play forced VIS PESARO FC's goalkeeper Eugenio Gentili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberigo Castronovo took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabiano De Matteis. Fabiano De Matteis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Eugenio Gentili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Lazzaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Alberigo Ucci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugenio Gentili read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Pionca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberigo Ucci to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Guaita in the 44th minute of play forced Pionca's goalkeeper Fabiano De Matteis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Gentili made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Adriano Palmieri sent off a good shot on target. Fabiano De Matteis came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by VIS PESARO FC's Anthony Guaita. But to his dismay, Anthony Guaita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberigo Ucci was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as VIS PESARO FC's Dario Petrucci slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabiano De Matteis. That made the score 1-3 after 54 minutes of play. Fabiano De Matteis was a little too slow when Cristoforo Basile got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-4. Fabiano De Matteis made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Anthony Guaita sent off a good shot on target. After 75 minutes of play, VIS PESARO FC's Anthony Guaita made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabiano De Matteis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antonello Scutti hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the game, Alberigo Castronovo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Fabiano De Matteis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pionca's Frank Puddu got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pionca's Alberigo Ucci got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dario Petrucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano De Matteis having to interfere. The VIS PESARO FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing VIS PESARO FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
