In the 15th minute of the match Pionca got a corner. Juventus FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amedeo Angelucci ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Amedeo Angelucci got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Daniele Aquilino quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Pionca's Antonello Scutti got a free kick in the 19th minute. Anselmo Ascenzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Fabiano De Matteis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Pionca's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Di Mario came free, but Fabiano De Matteis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th match minute, Juventus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Oroni to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the game Amedeo Angelucci kicked a great long shot which passed Daniele Aquilino straight ahead into the goal, Result 2-0. One couldn't see Amedeo Angelucci behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. 37 minutes into the game, Fabiano Ragazzoni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventus FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pionca the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelo Profeta during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Amedeo Angelucci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pionca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anselmo Ascenzi made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Enzo Lazzaro made a precise shot to the right of Daniele Aquilino. Juventus FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After 61 minutes, Enzo Lazzaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pionca and the Juventus FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The long shot by Carlo Pietrangelo in the 62nd minute really tested Fabiano De Matteis's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 73rd minute Enzo Lazzaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniele Aquilino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th match minute, Juventus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Oroni to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pionca's goalkeeper Fabiano De Matteis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Frank Puddu fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pionca's protests and gave Frank Puddu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Juventus FC booed when Pionca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Puddu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donato Di Mario took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabiano De Matteis. Fabiano De Matteis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Amedeo Angelucci charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amedeo Angelucci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th minute, Frank Puddu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pionca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pionca had won after a very even match.
