Phoenix Suns's Alvise Marsilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Bosco in the 14th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hillar Rahkema in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Comunardo Buccella saved Sativa Team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Roldán Barcelo took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Comunardo Buccella to make any attempt to save it. 29 minutes into the match, Cristoforo Pierdomenico dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Comunardo Buccella, 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Sativa Team's zone, Cristoforo Pierdomenico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Comunardo Buccella came out of the goal and Cristoforo Pierdomenico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute, Alessandro Bosco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Sativa Team defense, Roldán Barcelo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Comunardo Buccella. The Sativa Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Comunardo Buccella should have stopped the shot. Comunardo Buccella didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roldán Barcelo went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. 91 minutes into the match, Roldán Barcelo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Comunardo Buccella. Sativa Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roldán Barcelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-1. Alvise Marsilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Bosco, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Phoenix Suns fully deserved thier win.
