With an all-out effort, Campania FC's Comunardo Buccella threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Camillo De Sisti, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Carlo Epifani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alessandro Bosco ran back to his position shaking his head. Camillo De Sisti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Comunardo Buccella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anfilogino Rapone might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dennis Toninelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anfilogino Rapone ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camillo De Sisti in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Comunardo Buccella prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Sativa Team getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Flavio Del Greco hit a great ball. With a little luck, Sativa Team's Comunardo Buccella got control of the ball when Carlo Epifani tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Camillo De Sisti made a precise shot to the right of Comunardo Buccella. Sativa Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 48th minute Camillo De Sisti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comunardo Buccella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alessandro Bosco made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Sativa Team's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Pellecchia came free, but Comunardo Buccella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Campania FC booed when Sativa Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Prato didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee showed Flavio Del Greco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Flavio Del Greco kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Camillo De Sisti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comunardo Buccella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Sativa Team's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Epifani came free, but Comunardo Buccella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Comunardo Buccella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Epifani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 96 minutes, Beppe Salomone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campania FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beppe Salomone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sativa Team players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Campania FC.
