The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Ferdinando Di Giulio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The garbatella fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 9 minutes into the game, Antonio Conti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Adriano Petrella was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alberto Trombetta scored 0-3 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adriano Petrella, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adriano Petrella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Conti in the 14th minute of the match. Adriano Petrella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Trombetta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Alberto Trombetta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The garbatella fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After 25 minutes of play, garbatella's Antonio Conti made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adriano Petrella was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the game, Ferdinando Di Giulio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Adriano Petrella was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Tiago Gabriel Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. Alberto Trombetta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Petrella having to interfere. Antonio Conti scored 0-7 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adriano Petrella, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alberto Trombetta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adriano Petrella having to make a save. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonio Conti to make the kick off. Antonio Conti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Adriano Petrella made a huge save. ChupaBonito's Adriano Petrella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Trombetta in the 53rd minute of play. With a little luck, ChupaBonito's Adriano Petrella got control of the ball when Ferdinando Di Giulio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antonio Conti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Adriano Petrella made a huge save. 57 minutes into the game, Antonio Conti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Adriano Petrella was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the ChupaBonito defense, Alberigo Della Torre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adriano Petrella. The ChupaBonito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adriano Petrella should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute, garbatella's Alberto Trombetta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. Adriano Petrella was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ferdinando Di Giulio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 70 minute of play. After 73 minutes of play, ChupaBonito's Gualter Quintal made it 1-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alessio Di Paolo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cesare Bordon hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see garbatella's Domenico Tondi in action when he in the 80th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gualter Quintal in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alessio Di Paolo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adriano Petrella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Conti in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, garbatella's Antonio Conti got a free kick in the 88th minute. After 93 minutes, Arturo Donatelli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the garbatella and the ChupaBonito players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 93 played minutes garbatella got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Donatelli. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind garbatella's goalkeeper Alessio Di Paolo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. garbatella's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
