Spectators: 7998 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1839, VIP seats: 159) Barcelona Viper's Eugenio Cinque started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Guantai's Flavio Zacchia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fedele Savini. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. In the 8th minute, Donato Sammartano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fedele Savini was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Fedele Savini came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Guantai's Donato Sammartano. But to his dismay, Donato Sammartano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Donato Sammartano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Fedele Savini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Flavio Zacchia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fedele Savini. The goal made the score 4-0. With a little luck, Barcelona Viper's Fedele Savini got control of the ball when Federico Riva tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute, Donato Sammartano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fedele Savini was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 35 minutes into the match, Guantai's Federico Riva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fedele Savini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 38 minutes, Flavio Zacchia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guantai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Zacchia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Barcelona Viper's zone, Donato Sammartano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fedele Savini came out of the goal and Donato Sammartano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 42 played minutes Barcelona Viper got a freekick which was hit by Dario Antognoni. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Sammartano in the 42nd minute of play forced Barcelona Viper's goalkeeper Fedele Savini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Zacchia's late challenge caught a Barcelona Viper's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavio Zacchia helped the player get up and apologised. Flavio Zacchia hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The supporters of Barcelona Viper booed when Guantai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Sammartano didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavio Zacchia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Flavio Zacchia scored 6-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fedele Savini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fedele Savini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Zacchia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Zacchia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Fedele Savini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Sammartano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fedele Savini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Eugenio Dionisi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosimo Iachini in the 64th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Donato Sammartano made a precise shot to the right of Fedele Savini. Barcelona Viper's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. After 74 minutes of play Guantai's Flavio Zacchia was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 74 played minutes Guantai got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Zacchia. 79 minutes into the game, Guantai's Donato Sammartano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fedele Savini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. When Donato Sammartano came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Guantai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Sammartano couldn't finish the play. Federico Riva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fedele Savini having to make a save. Donato Sammartano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciccio Cammarota hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute Dino Ranieri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fedele Savini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dino Ranieri kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When Federico Riva came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Guantai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Riva couldn't finish the play. Guantai walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
