The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Tammaro got free with Alexander Formaggio in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 7 in the game by Bernardo Tammaro from a close distance when the talented Alexander Formaggio managed to make a qualified save. Frattocchie's players were relieved. Fabrizio Oroni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nik Tjæder kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Caledonia Invicta's Bernardo Tammaro got a free kick in the 13th minute. Caledonia Invicta's Fedele Oroni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Trezeguet in the 14th minute of play. Fedele Oroni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Petrović, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Alexander Formaggio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio Oroni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caledonia Invicta's Carter Cerasoli was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alexander Formaggio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Frattocchie's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Laurențiu Sima scored to the left of an out of position Alexander Formaggio, making the score, 1-1. Alexander Formaggio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurențiu Sima in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Caledonia Invicta got a corner. Frattocchie's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carter Cerasoli ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Alberigo Moretta fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caledonia Invicta's protests and gave Alberigo Moretta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th match minute, Caledonia Invicta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberigo Moretta to maneuver through the defense. After 39 minutes Caledonia Invicta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marin Petrović who took care of the corner kick. The Caledonia Invicta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Trezeguet made a kick off. David Trezeguet received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fedele Oroni came out and tried to block the shot, but David Trezeguet slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 52nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Frattocchie's Marin Petrović slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fedele Oroni. That made the score 2-3 after 55 minutes of play. Caledonia Invicta made a substitution. Marcu Ştiopul replaced Carter Cerasoli. The Caledonia Invicta fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Caledonia Invicta's Bernardo Tammaro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Caledonia Invicta's Fedele Oroni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Trezeguet in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute of the match Frattocchie got a corner. Caledonia Invicta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Moises Boniel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caledonia Invicta's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Boniel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Formaggio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexander Formaggio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurențiu Sima in the 78th minute of play. When Caledonia Invicta's Moises Boniel in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Frattocchie's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 88 minutes, Laurențiu Sima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caledonia Invicta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurențiu Sima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frattocchie's Alexander Formaggio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Boniel in the 90th minute of play. Fedele Oroni came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Frattocchie's Nik Tjæder. But to his dismay, Nik Tjæder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-4. For all the effort they put into the match, the Frattocchie players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Caledonia Invicta.
