An unexpectedly hard shot by David Trezeguet in the 6th minute of play forced Guantai's goalkeeper Eugenio Dionisi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6thth minute of the game David Trezeguet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guantai's Eugenio Dionisi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wágner de Souza in the 7th minute of play forced Guantai's goalkeeper Eugenio Dionisi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Eugenio Dionisi throw himself and got hold of the ball when Wágner de Souza in the 8thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Eugenio Dionisi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Trezeguet in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Nico Gaúcho notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Guantai's Eugenio Dionisi. Eugenio Dionisi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. David Trezeguet struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Eugenio Dionisi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frattocchie. Donato Sammartano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Biagio Cattaneo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 45 played minutes Guantai got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Zacchia. 48 minutes into the game, Marin Petrović cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Eugenio Dionisi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

53 minutes into the game, one of Guantai:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 54th minute, Marin Petrović made a precise shot to the right of Eugenio Dionisi. Guantai's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 62nd minute Nico Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Dionisi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugenio Dionisi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Gaúcho in the 64th minute of play. Guantai's Eugenio Dionisi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wágner de Souza in the 65th minute of play. Eugenio Dionisi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Trezeguet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Federico Di Maio kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Biagio Cattaneo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute of the match Marin Petrović sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eugenio Dionisi skillfully saved the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Guantai's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Petrović came free, but Eugenio Dionisi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Frattocchie booed when Guantai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Zacchia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, David Trezeguet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Frattocchie fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After a rather tough play, Frattocchie's Alberto Reali got a free kick in the 98th minute. When the referee ended the match the Frattocchie players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
