Eugenio Dionisi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bernardo Tammaro took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugenio Dionisi. Eugenio Dionisi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 14th minute Bernardo Tammaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Dionisi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caledonia Invicta's Fedele Oroni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Zacchia in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Guantai's goal looked a bit too open when Laurențiu Sima came free, but Eugenio Dionisi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Guantai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciccio Coccia to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Caledonia Invicta's Carter Cerasoli broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 24 minutes, Donato Sammartano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guantai and the Caledonia Invicta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Donato Sammartano hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Eugenio Dionisi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Tammaro in the 25th minute of play. Freddy Bonadona got a throw-in 27 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Laurențiu Sima. If Flavio Zacchia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurențiu Sima in the 31st minute of play forced Guantai's goalkeeper Eugenio Dionisi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 played minutes Guantai got a freekick which was hit by Ciccio Coccia. In the 33rd minute of the match Carter Cerasoli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eugenio Dionisi skillfully saved the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Guantai's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Tammaro came free, but Eugenio Dionisi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Laurențiu Sima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Fabrizio Oroni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugenio Dionisi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After the first half Caledonia Invicta were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

53 minutes into the match, Guantai's goal looked a bit too open when Laurențiu Sima came free, but Eugenio Dionisi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laurențiu Sima had several of the Guantai's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 55 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Eugenio Dionisi as he didn't even see the shot coming. Bernardo Tammaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Dionisi having to interfere. Caledonia Invicta's Moises Boniel was substituted for Bernardo Tammaro. Biagio Cattaneo hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Caledonia Invicta's Laurențiu Sima got a free kick in the 64th minute. Eugenio Dionisi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Boniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Guantai's goalkeeper Eugenio Dionisi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moises Boniel. In the 72nd minute, Moises Boniel fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eugenio Dionisi, passed just outside the right post. Federico Riva hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Fedele Oroni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Zacchia in the 78th minute of the match. Guantai's Eugenio Dionisi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurențiu Sima in the 80th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Alberigo Moretta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavio Zacchia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedele Oroni having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Laurențiu Sima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caledonia Invicta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. When the final whistle sounded Caledonia Invicta left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Guantai.
