Nedo Nadi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bianco Doris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Nedo Nadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bianco Doris having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camillo Marinetti during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 played minutes Basaldella AFC got a freekick which was hit by Camillo Marinetti. After having played for 12 minutes, Nedo Nadi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Nicolò Kings's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nedo Nadi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alessandro Ronconi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Franco Catucci made a huge save. In the 17th minute, Nedo Nadi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bianco Doris was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 21 played minutes San Nicolò Kings got a freekick which was hit by Davide Bertolini. Basaldella AFC's Edoardo Fontanive was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Franco Catucci in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Edoardo Fontanive's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franco Catucci was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 26th minute Nedo Nadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bianco Doris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bianco Doris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davide Bertolini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basaldella AFC's Bianco Doris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nedo Nadi in the 28th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Basaldella AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nedo Nadi came free, but Bianco Doris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nedo Nadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nedo Nadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bianco Doris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nedo Nadi in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute San Nicolò Kings were awarded a corner. Nildo Sena went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on San Nicolò Kings's corner Nildo Sena fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bianco Doris quite easily take care of the ball. 44 minutes into the match, San Nicolò Kings's Davide Bertolini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bianco Doris narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute Nedo Nadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bianco Doris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Federico Alessandro to make the kick off. Bianco Doris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nedo Nadi in the 53rd minute. When San Nicolò Kings's Davide Bertolini in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Basaldella AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Bianco Doris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nedo Nadi in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute Davide Bertolini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bianco Doris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Basaldella AFC's goalkeeper Bianco Doris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nedo Nadi. The supporters of Basaldella AFC booed when San Nicolò Kings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Tagliente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basaldella AFC made a substitution. Bruno Arcari replaced Ennio Bertini. In the 65th minute, Ernesto Tagliente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Bottega in the 66th minute of play forced San Nicolò Kings's goalkeeper Franco Catucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nedo Nadi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Bianco Doris made a huge save. When Camillo Marinetti was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. With his leg Bianco Doris managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when San Nicolò Kings's Nedo Nadi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nedo Nadi struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Bianco Doris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Nicolò Kings. 80 minutes into the match, Basaldella AFC's Bruno Arcari sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franco Catucci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by San Nicolò Kings's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alessandro Ronconi was slow to take the kick. During this time Basaldella AFC's players had a chance to rest. Armando Frasco thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Franco Catucci, a very annoying self made goal in the 84th minute which led to 2-1. Benito Bravo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as San Nicolò Kings's Ernesto Tagliente slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bianco Doris. That made the score 2-2 after 91 minutes of play. After 95th play minutes Antonio Bottega shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Franco Catucci and just under the crossbar into goal. The Basaldella AFC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
