After a rather tough play, Ne's Ciccio Gava got a free kick in the 12th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Ne's goalkeeper Amedeo Ronconi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fulvio Domenici. Amedeo Ronconi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elia Tana, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After having played for 19 minutes, Șerban Hidiș managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Angolo del Calcio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Șerban Hidiș was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 minutes of play, Ne's Achille Piccone made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmondo Gori was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Angolo del Calcio getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Fedele Burelli hit a great ball. Amedeo Ronconi came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Angolo del Calcio's Fulvio Domenici. But to his dismay, Fulvio Domenici quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Achille Piccone kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Achille Piccone in the 33rd minute of play forced Angolo del Calcio's goalkeeper Edmondo Gori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Ne's goalkeeper Amedeo Ronconi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Marinucci. In the 40th minute of the match Angolo del Calcio got a corner. Ne's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amos Di Mascio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alexander Lancia kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Ne's Edmondo Gori threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amos Di Mascio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Angolo del Calcio's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Achille Piccone scored to the left of an out of position Edmondo Gori, making the score, 1-2. Edmondo Gori was a little too slow when Amos Beattie got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 67th minute Bruno Marinucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amedeo Ronconi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Ne's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Marinucci came free, but Amedeo Ronconi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angolo del Calcio's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Adriano Costanzo 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. The tension between the Angolo del Calcio and the Ne players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ne played a much better game than Angolo del Calcio and deserved their victory. The Angolo del Calcio players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
