The supporters of Segesta booed when San Nicolò Kings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nildo Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute of the match Waldemar Parzysz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franco Catucci skillfully saved the ball. Andrea Di Carlo took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franco Catucci. The San Nicolò Kings players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Segesta were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrea Di Carlo to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in San Nicolò Kings's zone, Lavrits Liljehult stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franco Catucci came out of the goal and Lavrits Liljehult tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Tagliente in the 57th minute of play forced Segesta's goalkeeper Bruno Mazzone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 minutes Segesta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nildo Sena who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Nildo Sena almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Segesta's Bruno Mazzone did a great save. In the 61st minute Ernesto Tagliente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Mazzone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. San Nicolò Kings's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nildo Sena in the 65th minute. The corner led to San Nicolò Kings's Benito Bravo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Bruno Mazzone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Bravo in the 66th minute of play. Bruno Mazzone didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nedo Nadi went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Franco Catucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lavrits Liljehult in the 75th minute of play. If Nedo Nadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. San Nicolò Kings made a substitution. April Kul replaced Davide Bertolini. An unexpectedly hard shot by April Kul in the 80th minute of play forced Segesta's goalkeeper Bruno Mazzone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Mazzone came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by San Nicolò Kings's April Kul. But to his dismay, April Kul quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Andrea Di Carlo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Franco Catucci when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, San Nicolò Kings's Franco Catucci got control of the ball when Andrea Di Carlo tried to sneak it across the goal line. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Segesta would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
