Attilio Marzoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuan Hong in the 21st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Verbano FC defense, Yuan Hong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Attilio Marzoli. The Verbano FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Attilio Marzoli should have stopped the shot. After having played for 24 minutes, Emilio Lauri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Verbano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Lauri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Igor Galo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico Colella in the 37th minute of the match. Amanda Plaza hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Yuan Hong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Martyon Brading got free with Igor Galo in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flavio Proietti made a great header on Verbano FC's corner, it was just that Boratella AFC's Igor Galo managed to reach the ball for a save. Fausto Urbani hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Boratella AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Martyon Brading came free, but Igor Galo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Verbano FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Enrico Colella managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verbano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrico Colella was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Galo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
