Flavio Proietti's late challenge caught a Les amis de Robespierre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. If Marlon Hamer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 played minutes Verbano FC got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Proietti. With an all-out effort, Les amis de Robespierre's Attilio Marzoli threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marlon Hamer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Les amis de Robespierre succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Verbano FC had controlled the match.
