After 22 minutes Austria Imperialis LS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yuan Hong who took care of the corner kick. In the 24th minute, Armando Egger made a precise shot to the right of Igor Galo. Boratella AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Agustin Gonzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demetrio Moriggi, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Demetrio Moriggi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Austria Imperialis LS's Antonio Nola got a free kick in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Fedele Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Austria Imperialis LS's supporters rose to their feet, but Fedele Maia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Galo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 46 played minutes Austria Imperialis LS got a freekick which was hit by Frank Silveri. 46 minutes into the match, Austria Imperialis LS's goal looked a bit too open when Yuan Hong came free, but Agustin Gonzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armando Egger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yuan Hong couldn't finish the play. When Lúcio Cavaco fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boratella AFC's protests and gave Lúcio Cavaco a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Austria Imperialis LS booed when Boratella AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio Cavaco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amanda Plaza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boratella AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
