A collision led to GM Team getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ferdinando Lucantoni hit a great ball. Bruno Minicucci scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fulvio De Vito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th minute, Boratella AFC's Yuan Hong ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bruno Amatori. Bruno Amatori yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 17 played minutes GM Team got a freekick which was hit by Anfilogino Polmone. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Yuan Hong sped through GM Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Amatori. In the 25th match minute, GM Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulvio Micarelli to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Bruno Minicucci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Boratella AFC's Bruno Amatori threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yuan Hong, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 35th minute, Yuan Hong fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ferdinando Lucantoni hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. With a little luck, GM Team's Bruno Amatori got control of the ball when Demetrio Moriggi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bruno Amatori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yuan Hong's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. The supporters of Boratella AFC booed when GM Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Berardini didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Boratella AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ermanno Lauri came free, but Fulvio De Vito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Amatori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuan Hong, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ermanno Lauri made a kick off. In the 54th minute Demetrio Moriggi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Amatori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56thth minute of the game Yuan Hong who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GM Team's Bruno Amatori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bruno Amatori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amanda Plaza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermanno Lauri in the 59th minute of play forced Boratella AFC's goalkeeper Fulvio De Vito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yuan Hong in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Amatori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of GM Team booed when Boratella AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesare Tullio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Ernesto Berardini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Yuan Hong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Amatori. GM Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yuan Hong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. If Demetrio Moriggi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76thth minute of the game Demetrio Moriggi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GM Team's Bruno Amatori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Boratella AFC's Yuan Hong sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Amatori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Demetrio Moriggi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Bruno Amatori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demetrio Moriggi in the 85th minute of play forced GM Team's goalkeeper Bruno Amatori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Demetrio Moriggi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Amatori was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. In the 94th match minute, GM Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinando Lucantoni to maneuver through the defense. If Demetrio Moriggi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yuan Hong scored 5-1 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Amatori, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Boratella AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
